Fuck Everything, Nation Reports: Full Story
It went ok besides the fact that our guest artist was creepy and old and took a strange solo. But anyways…
1. “Struttin With Some Barbecue” by Louis Armstrong
A pretty good tune, it sounds a lot like Dixieland and would be fun to dance to. The entire band played Louis’ original solos, which was neat but hard.
2. “Whodunnit?” by Gordon Goodwin
A more modern tune. Still pretty jazzy and fun.
3. “April in Paris” arranged by Bob Mintzer
This tune will always be one of my favorites.
4. “Duly Noted” by Jeff Jarvis
A really fun tune! Gets pretty repetitive, but I think it’s neat. And in the middle every section has a soli which is cool.

Just finished last Nutcracker performance… I’m glad I don’t have to put more gunk all over my face (I’m going to look like a pizza tomorrow) but I will miss this so much next year. :(

To be or not to be-that is the question:
Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against the sea of troubles
And, by opposing, end them. To die, to sleep-
…to sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there’s the rub,
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come.
…there’s the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
…thus conscience does make cowards of us all…

What a piece of work is man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable; in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god: the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals-and yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me…

Doubt thou the stars are fire,
Doubt that the sun doth move,
Doubt truth to be a liar,
But never doubt I love.
